Ballynamona Clean Coasts are now seeking an urgent meeting with the National Parks and Wildlife service to discuss the issue as their clean-up operations have seen them clear items such as broken beer bottles, disposable barbecues, tents and beach chairs which have all been abandoned on the beach.
Ballynamona Clean Coasts group wants to discuss ways of clamping down on the activity in order to protect beaches and the wildlife in the area.
