Apple is to create a new engineering and test facility in Cork.
The Echo report that the tech giant will open the facility at the former Banta site in Hollyhill.
Apple acquired the site in 2020 and has invested tens of millions of Euro to transform it.
The new state of the art facility will test and analyse Apple's products for the whole of Europe.
Apple began operations on Cork's northside in 1980, and now employs around 6,000 people.
