A man in his 30's has been arrested in connection with an assault in West Cork last night
Gardai responded to the scene on Sand Quay in Clonakilty at around 11.30pm along with emergency services who rushed the injured man to hospital
The victim, a man in his 20's, was taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries
A man in his 30's was later arrested and is being detained at a garda station in West Cork
