The association have launched a campaign which it says aims to alleviate the negative image many have of Bandon since drainage works began.
Traders in the town told RedFM News last week that they have been forced to cut jobs and staff hours due to traffic diversions and road closures, while The Little Red Fish Company announced the closure of their store in the town at the end of last month due to what they say is plummeting footfall and traffic due to the ongoing works.
Speaking to RedFM News, Andrew Loane from Bandon Business Association is asking the community to rally around local businesses:
