A 48-year-old woman has gone on trial charged with the murder of her ex husband whom it was claimed sustained 28 stab wounds during a row at a house in Macroom in October 2018.
Rita O'Driscoll of Bridge Street, Bandon, is charged with the murder of 44-year-old Timmy Foley and assault causing serious harm to his brother, Jason Foley, on October 8th 2018 at Dan Corkery Place in Macroom.
She denies both charges.
