That's the message from Cork County Council who say significant rainfall and high winds are expected in coming hours as Cork remains under a red weather warning.
The local authority's response crews have been put on notice and are on standby to deal with any damage caused by Storm Ellen.
The advise is to stay indoors from 9pm, avoid unnecessary journeys, and secure all loose items outside such as wheelie bins.

Meanwhile Cork City Council have issued a tidal flooding alert.
The local authority say they're preparing to address any damage that might result from the severe winds and emergency crews are on standby.
The City Council are also asking that all construction sites are made secure in advance of high winds, including plant, materials and fencing.
Elsewhere Met Eireann is warning that its status red wind warning that has been issued for us here in Cork may be upgraded to include more counties.
The alert is due to start at 9pm tonight as Storm Ellen tracks over Ireland, and is set to remain in place until midnight.
