Details have emerged of what is being described as the largest poisoning of birds of prey in Ireland in decades.
BirdWatch has condemned the mass poisoning of 23 Buzzards, which were recovered near Timoleague in Co Cork last December.
It says it's been confirmed that all the birds ingested a toxic banned substance called Carbofuran.
The conservation group is calling for a dedicated Wildlife Crime Unit to be set up.
