The Irish Blood Transfusion Service are calling on Cork people to donate blood today.
A blood donation clinic will be open in the Silversprings Clayton Hotel from 3.45pm - 8pm.
The IBTS says they do need to fill the appointments available in order to maintain a healthy blood supply.
Donors have the option to call to make an appointment on 1800 731137 or they can also walk into the clinic this evening.
