Gardaí are investigating after the body of a man was discovered in West Cork this morning.
A member of the public found the man's body in the Quay area of Bantry town at roughly 10 o'clock this morning.
The man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene, and taken to Cork University Hospital for a post mortem at a later date.
Investigations are ongoing.
