A new food market is set to open in Cobh this weekend.
'The Boatyard' is Cork's newest outdoor food venture, with five independent stalls selling coffee, ice cream, fish and chips, rotisserie chicken and gourmet burgers.
All of the businesses are serving their food from revamped shipping containers.
To celebrate the grand opening, The Boatyard is planning an official launch event, with special promotions, music and family entertainment available throughout the weekend.
Ahead of the event, Rob Coughlan, Owner and Director of The Boatyard stated:
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to The Boatyard this weekend. It has taken months of careful planning, building and renovating, with all hands on deck to get us to this point. I’d like to sincerely thank everyone involved for all of their hard work and dedication over the past few months. At times I thought we might not ever get here - but we are here and we are ready!”
