Residents say they are relieved

Residents living in the vicinity of UCC say they're relieved after a District Court judge issued an order to ensure that a landlord who owns two student houses in the city where partying has been ongoing for over 7 weeks, has to keep his houses in order

Last week Judge Olann Kelleher gave landlord Fachtna O'Reilly of Model Farm Road, Carrigrohane seven days to take steps to resolve the problem

Two residents living on Connaught Avenue and Highfield Avenue brought an environmental complaint, in respect of noise from properties owned by landlord Fachtna O'Reilly

The Judge heard the environmental complaint last week and said that he accepted the evidence of the residents.

Catherine Clancy of the residents association stepped outside of the courthouse in the past few minutes to update RedFM News on the Judge's order
