Calls have been made to bring in contractors to carry out some road improvement schemes in the county.
There are currently 150 schemes on the Local Improvement Scheme waiting list.
The highest number, 73, are in the Bantry electoral area, with a further 28 in the Macroom area and one in the Carrigaline Municipal District area.
The estimated cost of these projects is €6.2m.
Meanwhile, there are 81 projects on the waiting list for the Community Involvement Scheme with an estimated cost of almost €5.1m.
The Irish Examiner reports calls have now been made for contractors to be brought in if there are issues with the manpower of the county council to
carry out the works.
