Campaigners opposed to live export of up to 2,000 bulls to Libya staged Cork protest

Campaigners opposed to the live export of up to 2,000 live bulls to Libya have staged a protest in Cork city centre.

The bulls are scheduled to leave Kennedy Quay for Libya this evening on the 'Sarah M' livestock vessel.

Ethical Farming Ireland object to the nine day journey, which they say can be tough for animals despite the efforts of the crew of the ship.

Speaking to RedFM News, Caroline Rowley from Ethical Farming Ireland say it's not fair to send livestock to Libya:
