The construction of almost 100 new homes in Carrigaline has been given the green light.
The new homes will be part of the existing Janeville development.
It will see the construction of a range of detached, semi-detached and townhouse as well as the development of a central amenity parkland.
The 100 acre Janeville site was purchased in 2004 and is expected to bring 800 homes to the town in the coming years.
