Church Hill in Glanmire is closed after a lorry crashed into the wall of New Inn School.
It happened at around twenty to 10 this morning.
The articulated lorry was travelling down Church Hill when it crashed into the wall of New Inn School.
Cork City Fire Brigade said the driver lost control of the vehicle which caused the lorry to overturn.
The driver was uninjured in the incident and no other injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
The lorry's diesel tank ruptured causing a spillage out on the road.
The road will remain closed until the diesel spillage is clear.
