CIT President disappointed with Covid-19 house parties close to colleges

The President of CIT says he's disappointed students living in the vicinity of Cork colleges have been hosting parties in the midst of the COVID19 restrictions.

It comes after residents living in the vicinity of UCC escalated their campaign against ongoing parties in the area, by mounting a vigil outside the home of a landlord who owns many rental properties in the area.

The Magazine Road and Surrounding Areas residents association say they were forced to do this after no action was taken following weeks of loud house parties which are continuing in the area.
