The Council and LDA have established a new Delivery Office to lead the development of the former industrial hub.
The 146 hectare site will be developed over the next 20 years and will accommodate a population of 25,000 people, a workforce of 29,000 and a student population of 3,700.
The new office will be tasked with creating partnerships, removing obstacles to development and organising stakeholder engagement and consultation.
