The scheme would see Monaghan Road be extended towards a prospective Eastern Gateway Bridge, which would span the Lee across to the Lower Glanmire Road
he development would require land from the Suttons Coal Yard site.
According to the council, construction work would be expected to commence in early 2022 if planning were granted.
The plan can be viewed until the the 20th August on the City Council's website.
