It will come into effect from Monday

The move is designed to entice shoppers back to the City as the country moves to Phase 3 of the Government's roadmap to recovery and reopening the economy.

Motorists will enjoy two-hours of free parking at the North Main Street and Paul Street multi-storey car parks from Monday, as dozens of businesses reopen after months of closure due to Covid-19.

Cinemas, barbers, hairdressers, bowling alleys, cafes, bookmakers, and pubs that can function as restaurants are among the businesses that will begin to reopen across the City and County from next week.
