Gardaí have advised people attending the Elton John concert tonight to respect the area around Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
They have reminded concert goers that it is a residential and commercial area, and that plenty of bins and public toilets will be available.
Gardaí are warning that those found to be drinking alcohol openly in the area will have it confiscated.
Speaking to RedFM News, James Hallahan from the Garda Traffic Management team said people must be mindful of residents in the area.
"We want the people to respect the area, woe want people to come down and enjoy themselves but it's a residential area and a commercial area, so littering is a big no.
"There will be plenty of bins out so again we want to leave the place the way it is today, it's lovely and it's clean.
"Drinking in public is a big no no. We don't like to see it. We will seize drink - if you are drinking in the area we will take it off you.
"There are public toilets in the area - use the public toilets."
