Construction has started on the infrastructure and public realm works for the Beamish and Crawford Quarter in the city centre
The works include the redevelopment of Bishop Lucey Park, the construction of two new pedestrian bridges along with streetscape improvement works on South Main Street, Tuckey Street, Frenchs Quay and Proby’s Quay
Heritage lights on South Gate Bridge will also be restored as part of the works programme
A road closures will be in place for 12 months to facilitate the construction works on Crosses' Green with diversions in place and local access maintained
