Cork Airport Working On A Recovery Plan With Parent Company DAA

Management confirmed a plan is in the pipeline.

Just 530,000 passengers passed through the airport in 2020 compared to almost 2.6 million in 2019.

The airport was on track to post another year of growth before the pandemic hit- passenger traffic had increased by a quarter between 2015 and 2019.

Just two airlines are currently operating flights to two destinations, a huge decline from eight airlines and 50 routes at the start of last year.
