Cronin's Coaches in Blackpool will be leaving Ireland on Tuesday to deliver supplies such as sleeping bags and children's clothing.
The group will be bringing 40 women and children back to Cork on the return journey and matching them with people who have offered space in their home.
The bus will be parked at Blackpool Shopping Centre this Saturday between 10am and 5pm and people are being asked to donate what they can on the day.
Niall Cronin from Cronin's Coaches is one of the drivers taking part in the journey and he told RedFM News how people can make an offer of temporary accommodation:
"We have a an online page for people to apply on- safeharbourforukraine.org. People can show their interest in giving over property, apartments, sharing a room or bedroom in their house. The key to this project is to secure enough accommodation for the 40 that we're bringing back. This first trip is a symbol of what a lot of people are going to do here in Ireland. Today alone we've had a number of other operators contact us to say that they would be looking at doing the same thing, to send buses down to bring people back so this will snowball very quickly and I think the Irish people are going to get behind this entire initiative very, very quickly."
