A Cork cancer survivor is appealing to people to donate to the Irish Cancer Society this Daffodil Day.
Natalie Cambridge from White's Cross was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and says her treatment experience would have been completely different without the charity.
The Irish Cancer Society gets just 5 percent of its funding from the Government and has to rely on public fundraising to provide counselling services and transport to hospital appointments for cancer patients.
Cancer survivor Natalie Cambridge is asking people in Cork to donate what they can this Daffodil Day:
"They only get 5% funding from the government so everything else is the bucket so if you pass the bucket in town like those people are collecting for Daffodil Day I mean, Daffodil Day is the biggest fundraiser. So, like if you don't give it, the services won't be available, you know, because they won't be able to provide them. The biggest fundraiser as Daffodil day so please give us you know anything at all."
