That's the warning from Cork Chair of the Restaurants Association of Ireland Mike Ryan who says HEPA filters should be used to allow venues like restaurants to stay open.
The chef and owner of Coqbull and Cornstore in the city says research on ventilation in schools should be examined with a focus on the hospitality sector.
Financial supports for the sector was announced yesterday, with Tánaiste Leo Varadkar saying there are no plans to ease Covid restrictions on the likes of pubs and restaurants before the end of January.
