Cork Chamber are highlighting the importance of businesses preparing for a new post-Covid workplace.
The group made the comments as many people return to the office on a phased basis for the first time since March 2020.
Cork Chamber have launched a new partnership with Adare Human Resource Management to provide HR, employment law and health and safety advice to support the return to the office.
Speaking to RedFM News, CEO of Cork Chamber Conor Healy says he's confident that employers will continue to offer flexibility to employees in the coming months:
"I think every effort will be made to see that continue. But it very much is on a on a business by business basis I think everybody is evaluating their own work environment to ensure that they can make it work best. So I would be confident that we will not go back to what we saw as business as usual, pre-pandemic and we can retain many of those positives in terms of flexibility and achieving a greater work-life balance."
