The Chamber is calling for a final investment decision to be made without delay
The project hit a setback 12 months ago when it was retendered, and calls are now being made for the announcement of the successful contracter for the project.
The interchange is the busiest outside of Dublin carrying over 100,000 vehicles per day and calls have been made for works to get underway while traffic volumes are lower as a result of the pandemic.
