A Cork childcare provider says there will be more closures in the industry.
498 children lost places in preschools and after school services last year after closures around the city and county.
Childcare providers protested outside the City Hall last September to highlight their financial issues and struggles to pay staff.

Speaking to RedFM News, Owner of Tots to Teens Childcare in Carrignavar, Tracy Murphy-Roche says the funding from the Government is not enough to pay the bills:
"Very very sad to see it happening, I suppose now looking forward it is going to affect a lot of people, even myself because of staff issues, money coming from Government we're delighted with the core funding, but it's not enough to go around, to pay the bills."
