Last week Judge Rosemary Horgan granted an interim injunction to prevent protestors from intimidating, threatening or obstructing workers at the site of construction on seven houses at Lower Codrum, Macroom.
Gardaí were called to the site last week when protestors, some wrapped in Irish flags, turned up at the site.
Earlier today Judge Horgan was told the first named defendant was taking issue with the order made against her and is planning to file a replying affidavit.
The woman told the court she was shocked to be named as someone involved in the unlawful activity and said she wasn't in Macroom when the obstruction happened.
She said she is being used as a "scapegoat" and that her name has been "plucked from a magic hat."
She stated that she was "deeply offended and saddened" to be named as the instigator and said she had contacted three solicitors in relation to the case but none had returned her calls.
The case will be back before the court in the Washington Street Courthouse again next Thursday.
