Cork City Council intends to compulsorily purchase two long-term derelict properties in the city centre.
Numbers 23 and 24 Lower John Street have both been on the city's Derelict Sites Register since late December 2017.
The Council will use its powers under the Derelict Sites Act of 1990 to take ownership of the boarded up three-storey properties.
Objections to the CPOs must be made in writing by the 11th of July.
