Cork City Council are owed almost €5m in derelict site levies from landowners.
The Irish Examiner reports that the City Council currently has €4.9moutstanding, while the county council has no uncollected levies.
However, despite 52 derelict properties being listed on the county council's register at the end of 2023, no levies were issued.
Nationwide, over €2om worth of derelict site levies have been left uncollected.
