Community Centres across the county are set to receive Government funding for the purpose of upgrading their facilities.
The funding is part of the €15 million Community Centres Investment Fund, which was launched in April.
The main aim of the funding is to support local projects in communities across the county, and to give a helping hand to local groups and clubs that serve their community.
Churchfield Community Trust, Cork Deaf Association, and Fountainstown Community Sports Club are among the 63 centres in Cork benefitting under category 1 of the scheme.
