Cork born company, Talivest, has received a major funding boost so they can try and stop employees across the world feeling disengaged and isolated.
The employee analytics software company is putting the investment into their new Employee Energy Tool, which aims to directly address the reasons and causes of discontentment and burnout in the workplace.
The tool looks into employee well-being and can be used to predict employee engagement and essentially flag employee burnout.
These are the two key contributors that result in people resigning from their jobs.
Energy levels across the 200 Irish executives that were surveyed was only at an average of 52%.
Some of the major issues affecting employees and their energy levels were relationships with colleagues, emotional demands and workload expectations.
The funding will allow Talivest to implement the tool with customers and hire key roles within the organisation including sales, customer success, marketing and technology to continue to grow as a business and help those in need.
