Cork County Council Are Hoping That A New 'Talent Map' Of The County Will Entice More Businesses To Invest Leeside

The Council launched the new initiative to identify employment skills and talent across the County

It falls under the Council's Project ACT (or Activating County Towns), which has 23 newly formed Town Teams currently working on individual plans to stimulate and support economic growth in Cork.

It has been co-created by Irish Startup Company Abodoo, and will use mapping technology to locate skill sets across the County, which the Council will then use to create new economic opportunities.

Speaking to RedFM News, Artist Will Sliney, who works on projects for Marvel Comics from his home in Ballycotton, says he has never felt more connected to his community as he has in recent weeks:
