Cork County Council is asking the public for their views on a proposed new town centre for Carrigaline.
In its current form, the major project would cost several million euro and transform the town centre.
The County Council has published details and drawings of the proposed Village Public Centre and Waterfront River Park development.
The suggested plan consists of a plaza, covered pavilion, new waterfront area with seating, rain gardens, trees and open green spaces.
It would include a sheltered performance stage for community events near the waterfront, and offer around 90 car parking spaces.
Carrigaline developed quickly in recent years, meaning there was no proper town centre.
The public can see the full proposals on the County Council's website, and the public can give feedback on the plans until 4 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, 10th November.
