Cork County Council are continuing to salt key commuting and bus routes across the city this morning.
It comes ahead of an orange level alert for low temperatures/ ice for Cork for tonight.
Very low temperatures overnight of minus 5 degrees are predicted.
The orange warning is in place from 6pm today until 12 noon tomorrow.
