Cork GAA says getting big commercial events into SuperValu Pairc Uí Chaoimh is vital when it comes to clearing stadium debt.
It comes as it's been announced that Celtic will travel to the venue to play Cork City FC in July for the Cork Super Cup.
It's been over a year since the County Board joined in a partnership with Supervalu to clear the stadiums debt of over 30 million euro.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cork GAA CEO Kevin O'Donovan says the match could generate 6 million euro for the local economy
"It doesn't move the dial in the macro sense but in our day to day, commercial operations it's our job to sweat this asset get as many events in here this is another one. We like seeing other supporters come in, we like showing off the stadium, the national coverage for the stadium, it's all good"
