Cork GAA have launched a legal action against the firms behind the building of Páirc Ui Chaoimh.
It's reported that the county board have lodged a high court suit against builders John Sisk and Son, and engineering consultancy firm Malachy Walsh and Co.
According to the Sunday Times, negligence was cited as the cause of action for the proceedings, which were lodged on Tuesday.
The stadium, which was originally set to cost €70 million, however by the completion of the project costs had risen to as much as €110 million.
