It's hoped the completion of the Irish leg of a cycle route through Europe will boost tourism in County Cork.
The final section of EuroVelo 1 follows the coast from Youghal to the Beara Peninsula and was recently completed by the County Council in partnership with Sport Ireland.
The routes directs cyclists away from busier areas and uses quieter roads where possible.
EuroVelo 1 stretches 2,300km from Norway to Portugal and includes routes in Waterford, Wexford, Limerick, Mayo and Donegal.
