Two Cork hospitals had the highest average wait time for patients needing to access emergency departments last month
The Mercy University Hospital had the highest average wait time according to the figures at 21.6 hours
The HSE figures were given to Sinn Féin Health Spokesperson David Cullinane which show that the national average ED wait time for patients was 11 hours
Cork University Hospital was the second highest, with average wait times of 19.6 hours.
Waiting times were longer for people aged over 75 than under 75.
