550 of these places will be available in September 2020, with the rest becoming available in the next two years.
The upskill initiative covers 23 courses including Cybersecurity, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Culinary Skills, and Leadership Development.
Fees for those currently unemployed, those previously self-employed, and those returning to work will be covered by the Springboard+ initiative.
The full list of courses and eligibility criteria is available at www.springboardcourses.ie, and applications will open for the initiative on June 25th.
