The 66th Cork International Film Festival kicks off today.
The 17 day festival will feature over 80 films and documentaries and 130 short films and begins at the Everyman this evening with Ali & Ava which has been described as a "charming contemporary love story"
Screenings will be shown at a number of venues across the city and County and will be both in-person and online.
Speaking to RedFM News, Festival Director Fiona Clark outlines some of the venues hosting events this year.
“We’re back at full throttle this year, and it’s great to be back.
“We’re at the Gate Cinema, one of our major partners, and we’re in Cork, Midleton and Mallow.
“We’ll be at the Everyman Theatre, the Triskel, and we’re doing some presentations at the Crawford Gallery and Marina Park.
“We’re all over the city, we’ll be very visible and part of the fabric of the city during November.”
