The Ardú Street Art Project was a great success amongst residents and visitors to Cork city and this is something that hasn't gone unnoticed.
Cork City Council is now preparing to commission a huge €550,000 public arts project.
The project will create a route of five new public artworks in the city centre.
The project will involve a number of forms of artwork, including: sculptures, digital, lighting installations and murals.
A “suitably experienced” organisation or individual is being sought out by the Council to bring the project to life.
They hope the project will be done by this time next year, December 2022.
The artwork is set to be situated in popular key locations around the city and will have a link to Cork City's heritage.
