Local property tax across Cork is to remain at the same rate for the next two years.
Yesterday, City Councillors followed a move by County Councillors and voted to keep the local property tax at the same rate applied last year for the next two years.
The rate in the city is 9% above the basic rate while in the county the local adjustment factor stands at 7.5%.
Councillors had been recommended to increase the rate by 15% by both council executives.
