The Cork Luas is essential to developing the city's public transport system.
Cork Chamber says the city needs a combination of good bus routes, light rail and train services to improve connectivity.
The business representative is calling on the Government to make infrastructure a priority in the upcoming budget.
Speaking to RedFM News, Conor Healy from Cork Chamber says all of the projects to improve public transport need to be brought forward quicker:
"It's that combination of suburban rail along with Bus Connects, and along with light rail, and I think our ambition is to see all of those projects move forward in a far more timely manner, and to develop a really positive public transport system, both for business and the wider community in Cork".
