Isabel who was from Bishopstown was surrounded by her family when she died peacefully yesterday after a life long illness which her family say was borne with great courage, strength and determination
She was a leading campaigner for people to carry organ donation cards and an advocate for transplant surgeries.
Isabel suffered from pulmonary atresia, a birth defect of the pulmonary valve in the heart, and had to use bottled oxygen 24 hours a day.
She waited 15 years for a transplant and in 2017 she underwent a heart and double lung transplant but suffered multiple complications afterwards including a stroke, cardiac arrest and kidney failure
Isabel will be laid to rest tomorrow
