The Charity says that number will be higher as they'll also be delivering dinners to anyone in need.
The charity say the demand for its service is high this year as the affects of the COVID19 outbreak continue to be felt.
People are being encouraged to "Donate A Dinner" to the charity this year, with Midland Tyre Services donating €10,000 to the campaign being run by Cork's RedFM in association with Insight Insurance.
Speaking to RedFM News Catriona Twomey of Cork Penny Dinners says they're witnessing a lot of heartbreaking situations this year, but the doors of the charity are always:
"We see a huge amount of it far too much. And we're very worried about it because we know we're going into Christmas. And you know, like, normally people would make a joke and say Christmas is a silly season like as well, but this could be a very sad season for a lot of people as well. So we've upped our game I suppose we're ready willing and able to do what we have to do to make sure everybody's Okay. The volunteers are incredible."
