A popular Cork podcaster who is raising money to fund a support worker to help victims of homophobic attacks says he is often afraid for his and his friends' safety.
PJ Kirby co-hosts the "I'm Grand Mam" podcast and has set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise €20,000 during Pride Month to help LGBT Ireland to hire a key support worker.
PJ says he set up the campaign, which has raised nearly €6,000 in six days, in response to a number of violent attacks on members of the LGBTI+ community in Ireland.
