Management at Sober Lane on Sullivan's Quay say they sold more food than ever before last Saturday night, even taking pre COVID food sales into account.

That's despite the pub being closed for indoor dining due to the Level5 restrictions imposed to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

Many pubs across Cork have been continuing to adapt to challenges of the pandemic by offering takeaway and delivery services.

Speaking to RedFM News owner of Sober Lane Ernest Cantillon says he was able to make a very positive phone call this morning following the successful weekend:
