Joe Mac’s in Bandon has been closed for the past five years, however they shocked the community when they announced that they are planning on reopening!
Taking to their Facebook page the bar wrote:
“Well the rumours are true, we are re-opening.
Since closing the doors in August 2016, we always knew we would be back behind the bar someday & we are working hard to ensure a great & safe re-opening!
We cannot wait to open the doors to kick off the festivities & we look forward to welcoming you all back into Joe Mac’s!
Opening date coming soon!”
The bar which is situated on Emmet Row is ran by couple, Joe and Siobhan McCarthy.
The comments section underneath the Facebook post are filled positivity and well wishes.
The bar are currently waiting on their license to be finalised before they can officially reopen.
